Workshop is the epitome of Enjoy Camp language learning experience – a course focused on exploring a particular field, engaging in practical tasks and lively discussions, that allows campers to develop their English speaking skills in real-world contexts.
For example, a Drama Workshop is a course taught by an actor that teaches kids how to express emotions on stage, how to perform, how to hone their imagination. It might include activities like stage speech, movement, and partner work.
About the program
This program is designed to introduce professionals, teachers and team leaders to the concepts underlying the Enjoy Camp Immersion program in its current form.
Critical thinking
Creativity
Problem solving
Our leading principles have always been learning through experience and communication. We strongly believe that learning English in a camp environment should be done through engaging activities focused on developing various non-language skills, while connecting the language knowledge to non-language contexts by learning about the world IN English.
It is a complex approach that relies on the professionalism and personal commitment of those who take on the role of teachers.
Enjoy Camp exists as a community of like-minded individuals:
Encourage kids to explore the world in and around themselves
Create a space where everyone feels safe
Share their passions with the kids
Ready to grow together
We invite experienced team leaders and camp teachers, those who are already a part of the camp community but would like to try a new way to contribute to the camp life, while sharing their interest with the kids on a deeper level.
Team leaders and camp teachers
Educators
We invite professional teachers who would like to join the camp community and share with the kids their experience with a hobby or additional education.
Experts
We invite experts in different fields (actors, scientists, writers, etc.) who are interested in sharing their knowledge with kids.
Workshopping and Beyond is for:

Group 2
Programm: Length & Structure
Meeting 1
We’ll be learning more about the children that come to the shifts: their age and level differences, and the hidden potential those differences bring to your class.
Meeting 2
Meeting 3
We’ll discuss the ways to create a space that is both comfortable and encourages productivity, then work on the ways to make ourselves understood.
(refundable after working at the camp for 20+ days)
Participation fee - 3000 rub
An essential part of the program is a short trip to the campsite. We’ll get a look into the inner workings of the camp environment, meet the whole team you’ll be working with at the shifts the coming season, and attend training on the topics that weren’t covered at the Moscow meetings but can give you a more in-depth understanding of the camp (the exact list of trainings will be available later). And the most exciting part - you’ll get to give your workshop ideas a trial run.
We’ll look at different approaches to lesson planning and experiment to see which ones work best for our ideas, while we get ready for the camp gateway.
The Cookbook of Experiential Learning
The Grand Finale
Meeting 4
Meeting 5
3-day Camp Gateway:
18 - 20 April
We’ll look back at all that we've experienced, discuss the most provocative questions we hadn’t touched upon, and reflect on the course results.
We’ll be setting the goals for the rest of the program, and trying out the whole ‘workshop’ concept for ourselves.
